Andrea Cannistraci, CMM

President & Founder, andgreat

Andrea is the President & Founder of andgreat—a marketing, branding, and events firm that specializes in helping businesses design and execute unique and unforgettable marketing programs. 

Andrea is a seasoned marketer, with experience across multiple functions of marketing. Prior to starting andgreat, she worked in marketing at several start-up tech companies in Los Angeles, CA. Notable is her time as Marketing & Events Manager for the Rubicon Project, where she directed major sponsorships, events and other partnering initiatives to help launch the company. Also notable is her time at OpenX, where Andrea built the experiential marketing department from ground up and created and managed an incredible series of high-profile events that established OpenX as a top tier ad technology company and successfully built online and off-line event strategies to convert prospect and customer relationships into revenue.

Andrea’s greatest strengths are her creativity, drive and leadership. She thrives on challenges, particularly those that differentiate companies.


Andrea is a founding board member of the Carolina Beach Mural Project, board member of the Island Women, member and past officer of the Redondo Beach Elks Lodge #1378, a member of the Leadership Hermosa Beach Class of 2017, and a member of the American Legion Auxiliary Post 129. She holds a Bachelors degree from Duquesne University in Pittsburgh, PA and a Masters degree from the University of Alabama, Tuscaloosa, AL. 

She's been working 100% remote since 2015, and currently lives on Carolina Beach with her eight year old daughter Giovanna and Giovanna's kitty Enzo. In her free time, Andrea likes to play beach volleyball, travel the world, compete in All Natural Figure Competitions, where she earned her Pro Card in April of 2023. She takes pride in creating daily memorable experiences for her and her daughter.
